The EMEA Services Delivery function is responsible for delivering professional and managed services to our clients across a full range of technology and software offerings, delivering a scaled, consistent client experience and methodology through centres of excellence (COE): covering Customer Operations, Engineering, License Consulting Services, Digital Innovation, and Technology Solutions Group. All underpinned by Service Delivery Management and Services Ops & Transformation Teams.

 

The Services Organisation functions via a matrix-based operating model which allows local intimacy between country teammates and clients and enables scaled and consistent ways of working at the European level by separating the people management function from the business management function. People managers are responsible for providing daily support, career development opportunities, employee engagement, and performance management. Business managers are responsible for overseeing service, skills, and working practice development, operating processes, and daily task management. Both people and business managers work in close partnership in order to deliver business outcomes.

 

The Practice Manager resides within the EMEA Services Delivery function and is the Business Manager of a defined area.

 

The Role:

  • Reporting to the EMA Services Directoryou will further build out our Procurement Services capability covering the full spectrum of IT domains, including Software, Hardware, Telco, IT Managed Services.  
  • You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a virtual knowledge-sharing centre comprising of Consultants, Engineers, and Operations teammates, distributed across EMEA.
  • You will deliver high-quality client engagements through the effective utilisation of aligned virtual teams, resource scheduling, and project management aimed at achieving continual growth of the knowledge centre(s).
  • You will manage, motivate, and continually develop the team’s capability, preparing them to join the knowledge centre and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the value proposition, associated tools, delivery processes, and knowledge repository.

 

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in IT Procurement at Senior Managerial / Director level, leading procurement activities and teams in a large-scale and complex organisation.
  • Experience in Negotiating & Purchasing from a wide range of IT Software. Hardware, Telco, and Managed Services Vendors & Publishers
  • The ideal candidate will be an in-house EMEA procurement leader, coming from a multinational organisation, interested in taking the next step in their career by and utilising their unique expertise and knowledge in consulting and business management of the procurement practice.
