We have an opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Team. Based from the UK or Netherlands, you will put your stamp on Insight’s social media platforms, managing Insight’s online presence to create a distinctive social media identity to raise the profile of and enhance marketing and communications. You will be responsible for working with the Senior Manager of Brand & Communications to build and create comprehensive organic social media plans which can be utilised across EMEA

 

Someone with a passion for Technology who is articulate, creative with a strong background in professional social media management would be well suited for this role.

 

 

Main duties: 

 

  • Lead EMEA social media calls and assist with directing and implementing the social media strategy with EMEA country marketing teams.
  • Support with the monitoring of postings across EMEA, ensure they adhere with brand guidelines, and act as the social media ‘go to person’ for EMEA counterparts.
  • Support the Senior Manager Brand & Communications with planning and implementation of overall EMEA social media strategy.
  • Design innovative and effective social media campaigns that drive core KPIs of awareness and intent amongst new audiences, and retention among existing subscribers.
  • Responsible for devising bespoke social media plans for the senior leadership team and executive leaders.
  • Work with external stakeholders such as partners and clients, as well as internal stakeholders to ensure all social activity is connected and intertwined with their activity including events.
  • Form long term social partnerships with key media partners, talent, and influencers to broaden Insight’s voice within the social ecosystem.
  • Create engaging social media posts from scratch
  • Responsible for day-to-day UK posting in line with Insight’s brand identity and tone. Manage potential crisis management situations proactively and reactively, use social listening and moderation tools in order to quickly identify and react to issues before they escalate.
  • Lead measurement and evaluation of EMEA social media activity by evaluating social media channels in conjunction with EMEA counterparts and producing reports/dashboards on a regular basis outlining channel performance.
  • Consider Insight’s engagement with posts on various social media platforms (such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter) and provide evaluation in order to inform data-based decision making. Assess opportunities for future channels and ways to enhance Insight’s social media channel presence.

 

This is a predominantly organic social media role, but you may be asked to occasionally support with paid social initiatives, so experience in this area is preferred. This list is not exhaustive, you will be required to undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by your manager

 

Skills required:

 

  • A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator with proven success in creating standout social media messaging.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of key social platforms including analytics.
  • Experience in creating engaging and impactful social media content: from videos to gifs to static posts.
  • Proven experience of using an extensive range of social media marketing tools.
  • A solid understanding of the social media landscape, emerging channels, and trends.
  • Ability to formulate and manage high profile, organic social campaigns.
  • A self-motivated, enthusiastic, problem solver with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to move and influence people.
  • A fast learner who easily catches on with market trends, who is passionate about social media.
  • Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion.
