What you'll do:


You will manage the development of a geographic market to drive sales and delivery of Insight’s Solutions. Working in collaboration with other organizational units and vendors, you'll identify and target specific organizations where Insight can deliver value to the client’s business through differentiated solutions. You will achieve sales in new business as well as retain and grow existing accounts.

Your experience in leveraging technology to solve business problems coupled with your market knowledge and business network will enable you to create connections that support business growth and assist clients reach their strategic goals.

A bit about you:


  • Be able to demonstrate an ongoing interest to learn about and understand IT products
  • Previous sales experience in software licensing (Microsoft preferred)
  • Clear evidence of consistent target over achievement in a profit and margin driven sales environment
  • Proven record of account development, in particular with a complex portfolio of products and services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good business acumen, showing evidence of ability to make sound business decisions
  • Good Time Management Skills


Some of your accountabilities and responsibilities will include:


  • Generate new business with companies through various means of prospecting
  • Retain and grow existing business
  • Provide effective solutions to customers’ business needs via consultative selling
  • Co-ordination and communication of Volume License and Maintenance agreements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients at a senior level
  • Develop relationships with key publisher representatives
  • Provide regular account reviews in presentation format to key contacts
  • Deliver the appropriate resources from Insight to meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Document pipeline opportunities on a month-by-month basis
  • Develop strategic account plans
  • Document plans for over-achievement of budgets, include providing information on - target accounts, existing accounts, revenue expectations, close dates and critical success factors etc
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Regional Sales Director ANZ
