Windows System Admin

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Windows Systems Admin to assist with the administration, support, and maintenance of our client's current environment for a 1-year contract to hire role. This position is Hybrid, split between working remotely and in-office in Louisville, KY. 

 

Title: Windows Systems Admin
Job Location: Located the Louisville, KY. area, but will work remote unless required onsite.

 

Responsibilities:
The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•    Assist with the day to day administration, support, maintenance and updates to the environment.
•    Troubleshoot & help triage outages & issues.

 

Qualifications:
Candidate must have:
•    At lease 5 years of Windows Server and AD experience (on premise & Azure).
•    Good knowledge and understanding of the Windows Server Operating system, including administration, patching, build, troubleshooting, etc.
•    Good understanding of Active Directory including Azure AD (users, groups, multi-factor authentication, etc.)
•    Good Understanding and experience with Intune administration, maintenance & support
•    Good understanding and experience deploying and supporting Windows Desktops and Laptops
•    Experience with ticketing systems.
•    Ability to provide afterhours support for escalations as necessary.
•    Solid understanding of network fundamentals
•    Good understanding of and ability to follow the change management process and best practices.
•    Good troubleshooting skills.
•    Good communication skills, both oral & written.
•    Fluent in English

 

Nice to have:
•    Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
•    Meraki experience is a plus.
