Client Returns Associate

As a Client Returns Advocate at Insight, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all client return requests, assisting both internal and external clients with their requests via the phone, E-mail and IM and utilize Insight’s internal systems.  You’ll need to interact cross functionally with various internal Insight departments and third-party vendors.  

What you’ll do at Insight:   

  • Work with a team to process inbound returns, contacting internal and external stakeholders as needed. To do so, you’ll work with sales and vendors via e-mail and IM when issues arise and work to resolve.
  • Verify that part numbers and serial numbers are correct
  • Follow up on all pending return issues on a regular basis, partnering closely with sales teams and clients. 
  • Maintain all incoming e-mails and provide responses by end of each day and follow-up on any pending issues.  
  • Answer all incoming calls presented, return requests and or transfer to correct department. 
     

What you’ll need to join Insight:  

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Two year degree preferred, but not required or 1 year returns/ customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Customer service skills a must along with excellent oral/written communication.  
  • Computer hardware/software knowledge and/or industry knowledge strongly preferred.  
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, connects well and can communicate clearly with Insight's sales force and clients, has excellent time management and problem solving skills, proactively follows-up and is capable of working independently with minimal direction.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and operate a computer, telephone, keyboard; reach, stoop and kneel to handle material handling equipment 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. 
  • Light to moderate lifting is required - able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
