Project Manager

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee IT solution projects across the Greater China Region, ensuring alignment with both global strategies and local market requirements. This role demands strong leadership, cross-cultural communication, and deep understanding of regional compliance standards. As a shared resource for the GCR region, the PM will coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, optimize resource utilization, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Project Leadership
• Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects across multiple GCR markets, ensuring consistency in quality and timelines.
• Adapt global IT strategies to meet local market conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Border Coordination
• Act as the central liaison between global IT teams, regional business units, and local technical teams.
• Facilitate collaboration across different time zones, cultures, and languages.
• Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all projects comply with local laws and regulations, including data privacy and cybersecurity requirements.
• Maintain governance standards while adapting to regional nuances.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the GCR region.
• Provide clear, timely updates and manage expectations effectively.
• Risk & Issue Management
• Identify regional-specific risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve cross-market issues promptly to avoid project delays.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in IT solutions or technology implementation, preferably with regional or multinational exposure.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
