Your Mission

As an Associate Data Engineer at SADA, an Insight Company you will work collaboratively with architects and other engineers to recommend, prototype, build and debug data

infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Expectations

Experience - Experience: No prior professional experience is required. We welcome individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team.

Communication - Can articulate an issue concisely, can weigh the pros and cons, and can advocate a position based on reasoned argument.

Customer Facing - You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives on a regular basis.

Required Travel - 5-10% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Work Timings - This role requires availability for evening calls when necessary to support cross-timezone collaboration, address urgent project requirements, or attend scheduled evening team meetings.

Onboarding/Training - The first 3-6 months will be mostly dedicated to learning and to encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

Google Professional Data Engineer Certified or able to complete within the first 90 days of employment.

Useful Qualifications:

Experience working with Google Cloud data products (CloudSQL, Spanner, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Bigtable, BigQuery, Dataprep, Composer, etc)
Experience developing insights and visualizations in BI tools and related applications, such as Looker.
Experience with IoT architectures and building real-time data streaming pipelines Applied experience operationalizing machine learning models on large datasets
Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs
Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem
