Your Mission
As an Associate Google Workspace Deployment Engineer, you will work collaboratively with a team of deployment engineers plus, change managers and project managers to efficiently and successfully execute on the deployment of Google Workspace to an organization. You are able to understand and configure Google Workspace in the best manner for the Customer’s use cases and effectively train Customer admins on the Google Workspace admin capabilities and any configured integrations.
You’re also hands-on, able to comprehensively test/troubleshoot and build functioning prototypes that prove out ideas, and build confidence in the solutions you advocate.
You will be an established contributor within the team and will develop a reputation with Customers for the quality of your work. You will demonstrate repeated delivery of projects successfully.

Communication - Can articulate an issue concisely, can weigh the pros and cons, and can advocate a position based on reasoned argument.
Customer Facing - This is a very Customer-facing role. You will usually interact with Customers on a daily basis. You will participate in Customer meetings to guide the Customer through this transition and complete project tasks. You will present prototypes and create slideshows and documentation to build trust, confidence, and consensus both externally and internally.
Possible Travel - 1-5% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
Work Timings - This role requires availability for evening calls when necessary to support cross-timezone collaboration, address urgent project requirements, or attend scheduled evening team meetings.
Onboarding/Training - The first 3-6 months will be mostly dedicated to learning through shadowing and to encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Certificates:

Google Workspace Certified or able to complete within the first 90 days of employment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with and communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders

Experience producing technical assets or writing technical documentation
